Took part in the traditional Tak Bat Thoop Thian (Offering of Incense and Candles to Monks) ceremony at the Bodhi Tree Courtyard of Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan.
This longstanding tradition is a unique cultural practice of Nakhon Si Thammarat, held annually on the occasion of Asalha Bucha and the beginning of Buddhist Lent (Khao Phansa). For this special occasion, Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan invited monks from various temples to join the ceremony.
The incense, candles, and flowers offered during the event will be distributed to temples and other religious sites for further use and benefit.
